What are some upcoming exhibitions and galleries?

Current exhibitions at the Royal Ontario Museum include The Evidence Room, a stunning exhibit which reconstructs the forensic analysis of the architecture of Auschwitz and the Holocaust. Galleries on display currently include the Eaton Gallery of Rome, the Gallery of Birds, and Matthews Family Court of Chinees Sculpture, one of ROM's most moving spaces. 

What sorts of kids activities are at the museum?

The Royal Ontario Museum offers plenty of activities and things to do for kids, including sleepovers, drop-in weekend programs, New to Canada Youth Club, Explorer’ Club, and the Saturday Morning Club. The CIBC Discovery Gallery offers a hands-on interactive learning zone on level 2 of ROM. Kids can try on costumes, dig for dinosaur bones, and examine fossils and meteorites. Toddlers have their own special area with puzzles and toys to keep them engaged and inspired.
