Club Level - so worth it!

We just returned from FanExpo Canada 2019 & completely enjoyed staying at the Club Level. Breakfast for the entire family was so tasty, App's in the evening were great too. We were just walking distance to the FanExpo. Best location ever! Highly recommend you stay here

Excellent Location

I've stayed at Intercontinental Hotels for over 45 years (when they were a division of Pan Am) and have never been disappointed. The hotel is located on Front Street about 3 blocks west of Union Station. It's possible to walk to many of Toronto's attractions. The hotel has good security; you need a room key to go up to your room on the elevator. We were in Room 1715, a deluxe king, which overlooked the harbor (odd number rooms overlook the harbor, even numbered rooms overlook the city). The windows were double glazed and the room was very quiet. Make your reservation as soon as possible since Intercontinental Hotels increase room rates the closer you get to arrival

Luggage

My friends/family were on a girls trip that included an early morning arrival and late night departure.. we wanted to do some sightseeing downtown and discovered that Intercontinental would store our luggage for a small fee. The service.. especially "Joe" was so friendly and professional to deal with. A big thanks to Intercontinental for helping to make a great day!! Your service was greatly appreciated

Perfect business Hotel

I didn't wait at all for check in. The staff was friendly and courteous. I asked to be in a room near the elevators I got room 1136 that was very convenient and great corner room with a view of bustling downtown...however thank goodness I'm a sound sleeper. The only issue with the room is that the tv wall is ON the elevator wall, so you do hear the whoosh of the lifts going up and down as well as street noise. Only weird thing is that the clock with all the outlets is on the same side of the bed with built in power ( if I were with my hubby that would be weird) But honestly no complaints from me. The room was fantastically updated, clean, with an amazingly comfortable king bed and wonderful bathroom. Also loved the convenient location. Two thumbs up from me!

Magnificent

I stayed here for 5 nights with my son. I was impressed with the hotel from the moment I booked it until I checked out. When planning my trip, I emailed the hotel with several questions and they promptly answered them. Our room was spacious, clean, and gorgeous. The only drawback was that there wasn't a fridge other than the mini bar. A fridge is awfully convenient when traveling with a young child. The snack shop was adequate but closed at 9 pm and lacked variety. The restaurant was lovely. I would say that (only by looking at the menu), that breakfast was very expensive compared to lunch. Offering hotel guests a mild discount on breakfast would've been appreciated, or offering a limited menu to them. Either way, the food was wonderful, the decor is outstanding and the staff pleasant. The hotel has plenty of elevators and each moves quickly. There was never a wait. The halls were as clean as can be. The maids were always greeting us and smiling. However, I never heard any other guests or staff. This is a quiet hotel and offered a sense of privacy. Falling asleep was easy with the quietness and comfortable beds. The bathroom was quite grand and attractive. Great showers, maybe the best I've ever had. The location can't be beat. In between Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre, CN tower and 2 blocks from Union Station. It felt like a safe neighborhood and it was easy to navigate. We spent a lot of time in the pool. It was serene, yet kid friendly. It always felt clean and the staff was welcoming, especially Mimoxa, who always made conversation with us and managed to keep up with the demanding towel needs! She was smiling each day. The fitness center is beyond what I've seen at most hotels and even had a Barre bar, among plenty of modern cardio equipment, large weight selection and resistance equipment. I am an avid exerciser and never fell off track with a facility like this available. Upon checkout, Mike was very friendly. His courtesy reminded me once more why I loved this hotel so much. He went out of his way to make small talk regarding our hometown. We will return to Toronto and we will stay at the Intercontinental. I have recommended this beautiful facility to so many already
