Next Generation Boardrooms

InterContinental Toronto Centre has two upscale, Next Generation Boardrooms, aptly named Conquest and Visionary, seat up to 22 and 24 people respectively. Each boardroom is equipped with meeting equipment such as 60" plasma SMART Boards, video web conferencing, and touch-screen controls. Participants sit in sleek, ergonomic black leather office chairs around a contemporary oval conference table of dark wood. The boardrooms are soundproofed and feature a high-end sound system that is perfectly placed and hidden.

Next Generation Amenities

Host a power meeting in a smart venue designed to inspire ideas. The metallic tiles form an attractive oval on the ceiling above the conference table and with a quick touch on an electronic control screen, the tiles part and a high-resolution LCD projector descends into position. With a full projection screen at one end and two wall-mounted, 60" plasma screens at the other, easily broadcast images to your team. The left screen will split to show video web feeds from up to four different sites, while the right screen is also a SMART Board which can be controlled from the accompanying Sympodium interactive lectern. With this technology, the speaker views the computer image of his or her business presentation on the lectern's monitor and uses a stylus to circle or underline key points or to add handwritten notes.
