Now in its 37th year, the International Festival of Authors brings together more than 200 writers from Canada and around the world at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre. This 11-day showcase features the best in contemporary literature, with a large collection of readings, artist talks, interviews, round table discussions, workshops, public book signings, and other special events. From October 20-30, you can meet and mingle with top novelists, poets, playwrights, short story writers, and biographers. This year's spotlight will focus on new ideas from graphic novelists, non-fiction writers, and Irish writers. Highlighted events for the 2016 International Festival of Authors include:
