Prepare to be amazed by the dazzling creations at the Bloor-Yorkville Icefest. Taking place in the Village of Yorkville Park in one of Toronto's top cultural districts, this frozen attraction features masterpieces from some of the world's best ice carvers.
On February 25 and 25, you can wander through an icy wonderland of crystal-clear sculptures. Over 20,000 pounds of ice are used to wow the crowds at this winter festival, which also features live ice carving demonstrations and DJ beats.
You'll also find tasty refreshments from local restaurants and businesses, such as Carol's Cheesecake Company, Nespresso, Whole Foods-Yorkville and Sassafraz. Treats include fresh baked pretzels, cheesecake bites, hot cocoa with cream, savory soups, and more.
This year's Bloor-Yorkville Icefest will be open from 12 pm to 5 pm. Admission is free, however donations are accepted and will go to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Be sure to wear warm clothes and bring your camera.
